Fall is a special season at Patterson Greenhouses, it’s where our story truly began.
From crisp air and changing leaves to front porches dressed for autumn, fall is all about warmth, tradition, and celebrating the season together.
A Patterson Tradition: Our Famous Mums
We started this whole operation back in 1987 by growing 7,000 mums.
Why 7,000? There were seven people in our family, and seven was Dad’s favorite number, add a few thousand to that, and the tradition was born.
Those early mums thrived thanks to land that had been farmed for decades, with cows roaming the fields for over 40 years. The result? Strong, healthy plants that set the foundation for everything Patterson Greenhouses is today.
Today, mums remain a fall favorite, full, vibrant, and grown with the same care that started it all.

As always, availability may vary slightly depending on growing conditions, so stopping in early gives you the best selection.
